Las Vegas Native, Gabriel "Gabe" Torres-Garcia (under the online moniker "Nephilllm"), creates atmospheric ambient soundscapes for the better part of a couple of years. Finding his footing joining indie bands in the area ranging from genres like indie, punk, hardcore, shoegaze, and metalcore; Gabe has gone on time and time again proving that he's not just a "one-trick-pony". From his very early beginnings, he has proven to show an interest in music as early as 7 when he picked up the guitar for the first time. It was at THAT point in his life that he knew music was his calling. His most prominent and musically rewarding achievement has been his 2 year involvement as the guitarist and keyboardist for the (now-defunct) Las Vegas alternative metal band, Aethereal, from 2024 until 2026. During the 2 years that Aethereal was active for, he collaborated with talented musicians, Brendan Suslow and Cheyenne Lizotte, to record and produce 2 EPs and a single that many people from all around the world have shown high praise for. Besides the proficiency and reliability of his musical talent in the studio. During live performances is where he REALLY puts on a hell of a show.
Whether that's from thrashing his guitar around or erratically dancing on-stage; but that's not where it ends as he also simultaneously plays a keyboard while laying down riffs, licks, and solos layered in modulation, delay, and reverb through what many audience members call "the space station". When he's not actively collaborating with musicians, he writes and records his own songs that perfectly encapsulate the state of mind, difficult emotion, or the imaginary environment he's trying to audibly picture with his layers of sounds that he delivers the moment he presses record. Gabe constantly lists his primary inspirations from bands such as FAILURE, D.S.K, Medicine, ENEMY, and multiple bands/artists that no one has heard from in the better half of 30 years.
